Domestic & Commercial Boiler Managers Highly Commended in industry awards

Marshall-Tufflex is celebrating after its highly efficient Domestic and Commercial Boiler Manager systems were Highly Commended in the prestigious Electrical Industry Awards 2013 (Energy and Carbon Saving category).

The systems impressed judges with their ability to save users up to 20% on heating and hot water bills and their ease of installation in both new-build and retrofit situations. The units are installed close to the boiler by a qualified electrician in approximately 45 to 90 minutes (depending upon site access). They house a digital microprocessor programmed to control the boiler and, crucially, reduce the amount of time it spends dry cycling.

“These awards showcase the best of what the electrical industry has to offer,” said Jeremy Dodge, Marshall-Tufflex Head of Marketing and Technical Services. “The judging panel includes many respected figures in the industry including senior representatives from the ECA, JIB, NAPIT, NICEIC and the Electrical Safety Council, so it really is an accolade to be amongst the winners.”

Award winners were announced on Thursday, October 24 at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London.
