There is a solution, and it’s the new Molex Datagate outlet. Available in both white and black, the Molex PowerCat 6 DataGate outlet is designed to maintain clean secure connections, and is part of our extensive Molex range.
Finding out which connection is the problem isn’t an issue either, these Molex Datagate jacks are designed to provide ‘tactile feedback’, as the the spring-loaded shutter pops out any improperly seated patch cord, all with single-handed plug-in and removal.
The Molex PowerCat 6 Datagate jacks can be terminated using industry standard punch-down tools and are RJ-11 compatible. Engineered for use across a broad range of Molex products, their dual color-coding allows for 568A/B wiring configuration, and the jacks are RoHS compliant.
