Dwr Cymru Welsh Water Head Office – Newport, Gwent

Dwr Cymru (Welsh Water) have a large head office in Newport South Wales and they wanted to make their energy usage more efficient and improve the working environment for their staff.

After experimenting with several brands of 600x 600 LED luminaires and different control systems Elkay where chosen to control the DALI luminaire ballasts fitted with the dimmable LED panels.

Elkay provided a test area along a window for the DALI compatible, Elkay easyDALi and set up 3 groups controlling 9 luminaires. After two weeks in situ, the team at Dwr Cymru, decided to roll out the program across the entire building.

They also rolled the same easyDALi system out in their Nelson headquarters several months later.
