Blossom Street in Manchester is the latest phase of town houses and apartments to benefit from MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) systems from ventilation manufacturer EnviroVent.
Here, there are 199 new build dwellings, ranging from one bedroom apartments to three bedroom town houses in an urban area in Ancoats, north of Manchester city centre.
EnviroVent’s energiSava 250 units were specified by main contractor Ameon because they offered versatility – with wall hung, ceiling and floor mounted options. They were also selected as the units are highly efficient, yet compact in design, which is important in these apartments where space is at a premium. The fact that they could also be supplied with right hand or left hand orientation was a major bonus as it minimised cross-over of ducting and ensure maximum performance of the unit.
