Established in 1922, Craig & Derricott specialise in the design, manufacture and overhaul of low voltage switchgear, rail rolling stock components and LED lighting, supplying to customers large and small around the world.

Incorporated in 1944, Craig & Derricott commenced manufacturing in the royal borough of Sutton Coldfield. The company soon outgrew the original premise and in the 1970’s the business moved to our current site at Walsall Wood, to expand business capabilities.

Initially, rotary switches formed the bulk of our production which was soon augmented by a range of heavy duty pushbutton components and a wide selection of various limit switch formats. With our experienced sales staff and expert technical teams, C&D offer a large range of products now including assembled electrical isolation & automatic transfer switches, control stations, motor controls, rail (rolling stock) components and LED lighting. Supported by a bespoke and special product service known as mi-switch, we offer our customers the opportunity to specify exact requirements which can be made to order.

With over 100 employees worldwide, C&D are fast to respond to enquiries, quotes and communications, with ex-stock products available for next day delivery. As well as buying directly, we are represented by stockist worldwide who are able to help customers with their particular needs.
