Protect socket boxes and service penetrations with Astro PFP FR Putty Seal

When electrical sockets, cables and services pass through fire-rated walls and floors, the openings around them need to be carefully sealed.

Astro PFP FR Putty Seal is a flexible, non-setting intumescent putty designed for suitable fire and sound-rated sealing applications. It can be supplied as pre-shaped pads or cords, making it quick and easy to install in areas where traditional sealants and backing materials may be difficult to apply.

Suitable applications include

• Socket boxes in dry lining partitions.
• Small gaps around cables and cable bundles.
• Service penetrations through walls and floors.
• Water supply boxes in dry lining partitions.

The putty cord is designed for small gaps (0-10mm wide) around service penetrations, including applications where access is restricted.
