Click Scolmore launches new junction box range

Developing new products that make electrical installation projects quicker and easier to carry out is something Click Scolmore prides itself on and the latest addition of a brand new range of junction boxes is no exception.

The Jb plus junction boxes feature integrated fast-fit cable clamps - rather than screws - which makes the task of installing them a simpler and speedier one and means that they fully comply with the 17th edition wiring regulations. Regulation 522.8 states that there should be no undue mechanical strain on the terminations of the conductors within the junction box. Through the use of cable clamps, the terminals are free from strain at all times, even if the box and cable are not secured.

Junction boxes are an integral part of virtually every electrical installation. Scolmore’s new JB Plus range offers contractors a familiar terminal layout with the benefit of fast fit cable clamps and a much wider application potential than a standard junction box. There are four products in the range with current ratings from 5A to 30A and options of 3, 4 and 6 terminals.
