DESFire represents the leading standard of high-security access control technology. An advanced evolution of the MIFARE Standard, it is considered to be one of the highest security levels available today as it is virtually impossible to copy.
The identifiers used in these types of readers, such as proximity cards or keyrings, implement the DESFire EV2 standard which, thanks to the AES-256 encryption, provides an exceptionally high level of protection.
In addition, Fermax DESFire readers provide a higher level of security by means of a unique installer code to encode both readers and identifiers in your installations.
DESFire readers are integrated into Skyline, Marine, and Cora video door entry panels. They can also be installed as stand-alone readers in communal areas of a residential complex.
