The Panasonic SDS Plus Rotary Hammer Drill & Driver is fitted with a 5-stage torque clutch plus drill position and electric speed control for increased control even in high-speed applications. This gives you the power and performance of SDS drilling, coupled with the ability to use the same tool for screwdriving. It’s an upgrade to a combi drill! The drill has a ‘T shape’ design for improved balance and ergonomics and offers 2 modes of function, Rotary Hammer or Drill & Driver.

The model shown here (PAN78A1LJ or TSI code 406123523) is supplied with 2 x 5.0Ah Li-Ion batteries. It is also available with 2 x 3.0Ah batteries or as a bare unit. It has a variable no-load speed of 0 – 1,250rpm and an impact rate of 0 – 4,750 bpm. It also features the category leading ‘Tough Tool IP’ rating which was developed for work sites and provides extra resistance to water and dust. It is one of a three Panasonic SDS drills and forms part of their extensive cordless range.
