Rittal’s New Online Portal: Comprehensive Guidance for Modernising Data Centres

29-01-2018

Rittal

The International Data Corporation (IDC) recently reported that 73 per cent of companies now foresee the need for major modernization of data centres, to keep pace with the speed of digital advances.  They include Industry 4.0, the Internet of Things, big data and edge computing.

Rittal’s new IT microsite (www.rittal.com/it-solutions/en/) tackles this challenge head-on, with a comprehensive review of products, services and integrated solutions that can be considered and tailored to meet a company’s individual needs.

The speed of the digitization of manufacturing, trade and other sectors means businesses require a rapid and adequate provision of IT solutions, through data centres which can be:

•           procured simply and economically

•           operated efficiently and safely

Modernising data centres to meet these challenges is a challenge in itself, but one made considerably easier with Rittal’s new IT microsite, which provides companies with a range of comprehensive information and advice (www.rittal.com/it-solutions/en).

Visitors to the new site will get practical advice on topics such as Big Data, cloud computing and IT security, as well as case studies of real-life applications.  There is a large library of white papers, brochures and references and a live-chat facility to raise questions directly with Rittal experts.

The launch of the microsite is sure to be a draw at Data Centre World (DCW) 2018 where Rittal is again showcasing its expertise as an enabler of innovative IT solutions, ranging from individual IT racks right through to turnkey data centres within containers which offer users maximum modularity, scalability and efficiency.  All are fully supported by Rittal’s comprehensive consulting and service programmes that can operate for the duration of a data centre’s lifecycle.

“As the IDC research highlighted, around 75 per cent of decision-making is now based on information gathered online," explains Clive Partridge, Rittal’s Technical Manager for IT Infrastructure. “With our new IT website and our expertise, we are providing reliable support for customers in the decision-making process”.

Visitors can talk to members of the Rittal team about the solutions showcased in the new IT microsite, as well as view products from Rittal – The System, at Data Centre World (Excel, London, 21-22 March 2018) on Stand D510.
