LED Group shine at lighting fair

LED Group exhibited at the 16th Hong Kong Lighting Fair in October, showcasing to current and potential international buyers who had the opportunity to get acquainted with the best known Irish lighting brand globally, ROBUS.

The four-day Lighting Fair welcomed nearly 37,000 buyers from 135 countries and regions who visited over 725 exhibitors from around the world including LED Group. The VIBE LED flexi-strip system has been specifically developed for bespoke LED strip designs where various lengths and shapes of the design can be achieved. The new TASMAN LED downlight utilises the latest Chip-On-Board LED technology to provide even greater light output than a 50W mains voltage Halogen. By using only 9.2W of power, this downlight makes a significant contribution to reducing both carbon emissions and energy consumption whilst savings are further enhanced by the long life of this downlight which results in huge maintenance cost savings compared with short life halogens. Fair organisers commented that although overall attendance is slightly lower compared to the previous year, buyer attendance from some individual countries and regions has grown, including from traditional markets such as Italy, the UK, and the US, and emerging markets including India, Mexico and Turkey.
