The next stop for Heat Mat’s installer training team is JTL in Oxford.

Heat Mat runs popular product and system installation training days throughout the year. Their award-winning training scheme is aimed at electrical engineers and bathroom fitters who are keen to fit electric underfloor heating or improve their confidence.

The one-day training session at JTL, Culham Science Park, Abingdon teaches installers how to fit:

• Underfloor heating mats and cables
• Underlaminate systems
• Thermostats
• Accessories such as mirror demisters, insulation and ice and snow melting devices.

Fitting electric underfloor heating can be a lucrative new skill for electrical engineers and is becoming increasingly popular in renovation projects and new developments.

Following completion of the course attendees are added to Heat Mat’s database for installation enquiries.
