Exciting new projects for Herschel Infrared have included providing the heating for a homeless charity, Nightsafe, in Blackburn, which featured on the recent Children in Need Special of DIY SOS. The mammoth transformation project saw a church hall renovated by the DIY SOS team into accommodation for the young homeless in the Blackburn community. The Herschel team were delighted to donate over £6k worth of heating to the project, full details can be seen here. Heaters used were ceiling mounted white panels and Summit heaters.
We were also thrilled to be able to work with Leeds Rhinos on the installation of Herschel white panel heaters within the Leeds Rhinos Rugby Executive Boxes. “The effectiveness of the panels and overall feel of warmth is astounding and has been well received by all who have used the executive boxes so far”.
