Lamps from Megaman’s Professional Series have been installed throughout the accommodation in the seven blocks of new apartments that form the landmark development, 243 Ealing Road. The development is a joint venture between Hill and Network Living and occupies a prime waterside location overlooking the Grand Union Canal in Alperton, London.

243 Ealing Road is a key element in the regeneration of the Alperton area, which includes plans for shops, healthcare, green spaces and business premises. Offering the very best in urban design, the 441 apartments list energy efficiency as a keynote feature and energy efficient lighting expert Megaman has helped the project to achieve targets.

Specified and installed by R B Emersons Ltd, approximately 5,000 lamps have been utilised for the development, in a mixture of 4W non-dimmable and 6W dimmable LED GU10 versions. The 4W lamps measure 57mm x 50mm and the 6W are 58mm x 50 – both options have a beam angle of 35 and provide a warm white light with a cool running temperature and significantly reduced running costs. Megaman’s LED GU10’s offer superior performance, excellent light output and low maintenance costs as the lamps provide a long life of up to 50,000 hours.

The lamps have been installed in living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms in the private sale dwellings, whilst in the shared ownership properties kitchens and bathrooms all have Megaman lamps.
