Scolmore Group’s commitment to exceptional service levels and customer support continues to pay dividends, with the company named ‘Supplier of the Year 2016’ by members of the AIEW (Associated Independent Electrical Wholesalers) buying group.

Running since 2001 when the Association was first established, the awards scheme enables members to vote for their top supplier and recognises best practice when it comes to service levels, customer support, product quality, stock availability and pricing structures.

The award ceremony was hosted by the Association’s Chief Executive, Andy Gardner and held during the annual Trade Show & AGM at Cotswolds Water Park Four Pillars Hotel in Cirencester, where representatives of all member companies gathered for the weekend.

Andy Gardner commented:  “It was a great pleasure to able to announce Scolmore International as AIEW Supplier Of The Year 2016 - the award resulting from a membership vote taking account of price competitiveness, field sales support, stock availability and product quality.

“This award is recognition of all the efforts made at every level by the team at Scolmore to provide first class customer service and a quality product offer.  The two organisations and AIEW members have worked closely together for many years and we look forward to continuing to develop that relationship further.  Well done to everyone at Scolmore International.”

AIEW Director, Anne Dunning presented the trophy on the night to Scolmore’s National Sales Manager (North), Kevin Beech.   He said:   “We are delighted to have received this award, which we believe recognises the all-round package of products, service and support that we provide to the AIEW membership which is at the heart of our business success.  It’s a very competitive market and we understand the importance of working closely with our customers to fully understand their needs and provide the levels of support and service that helps them to maintain and grow successful, profitable businesses”.
