New regional sales manager for ESP

The latest new appointment at ESP sees Neil Crook take up the position of regional sales manager with overall responsibility for the Southern Sales Team which covers the East and West Midlands, East Anglia, South West, South East and Home Counties regions. 

He brings with him a wealth of valuable experience built up in the 22 years since his first role in the electrical industry, working within the emergency lighting and fire detection sectors.  He moved to become a lighting consultant and then worked as an internal ‘lighting expert’ with a big electrical wholesaler in the South West of England.

His next role in the industry took him to WISKA UK, the market leader in the manufacture and supply of Junction Boxes, Cable Glands and Gel/ Gel Jointing products, where he developed their growing OEM customer base, which included high profile specifications with BAE, Balfour Beatty and NG Bailey, on projects as varied as HMS Queen Elizabeth and Prince of Wales Aircraft Carriers, Tottenham Court Road underground scheme, and Devonport Dockyard’s nuclear submarine refit complex.

From WISKA UK he took up the role of National Sales Manager for Ecotrol, promoting a range of energy efficient electric heaters manufactured by Farho in Spain. During his time there he managed and implemented their first worldwide subsidiary in the UK, creating a firm base from which to store, sell and develop their range of oil filled heaters throughout the UK and Northern Ireland. 

In his new position with ESP he will be utilising his vast knowledge and experience to increase sales of ESP’s full range of CCTV, access control, fire protection, emergency lighting and external surveillance systems, as well as the Sangamo range of heating controls and time switches, through the electrical wholesale channel.  He will be responsible for developing and building strong relationships at branch, regional and national levels within ESP’s customer base.
