Getting the most from the CRC EES
22-02-2010
Getting the Most from the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme is a new publication from M&E Sustainability, a joint venture between the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) and the Heating & Ventilating Contractors’ Association (HVCA).
Available as a free download, the guidance is designed to help organisations understand the implications, and to prepare for the introduction of the CRC EES initiative, scheduled to begin in April 2010. As well as offering an overview of the CRC and its scope, the guidance provides practical advice to contractors, building owners and users on monitoring and reducing energy usage, and on achieving commitment from all stakeholders, including staff, to an energy-saving culture.
It also emphasises the expert role m&e contractors are able to play in the achievement of a sustainable built environment, and includes practical information on saving energy that will be of use to any organisation.
The guide can be downloaded from www.mech-elec.org.uk
