Guaranteed pay in bad weather

In light of the recent and predicted weather, the HVCA has published a guidance note for employers that are using the H&V Operative National Agreement. The guidance is designed to make them aware of the ‘guaranteed pay clause’ of the agreement in situations where adverse weather conditions result in dislocation of onsite production or prevent operatives from travelling to work.
