CIBSE Graduate 2010 named

Michael Gardner has been named as the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) Graduate of the Year 2010. Michael, one of six finalists, is a graduate of Coventry University and is now working for Pick Everard.

Now in its 15th year, the CIBSE Graduate Award, organised by CIBSE/ASHRAE group, is designed to champion the achievement and potential of young building services engineers.

Paul Hardy, managing director of the award’s sponsor Baxi Commercial Division, said: "We believe that recognising the achievements of our young engineers is vital in securing a healthy future for the industry. Awards like these offer encouragement for those already studying for a career in engineering and building construction as well as providing inspiration for other talented young people to seek a profession in the industry."
