A prerequisite of this project was to provide a solution where our supporting frames landed directly above the internal roof beams as a result of a lightweight roof design. Therefore our Flexi heavy – TWIN frames were ideal to target these positions and in doing so provided a platform for the secondary steelwork we also supplied. From receipt of the air-handling unit details we calculated the correct steels section to satisfactorily support the weight of each air-handling unit whilst maintaining a foot pressure within the parameters of the compressive strength of the roof insulation. All steelwork was hot dip galvanised and all fixings were supplied to aid a trouble free installation.
