JCC Lighting – Low Energy LED Lighting for Marussia F1 Head Office & Showroom

Project background
Precision is critical for Marussia F1 Team, a Russian sports car manufacturer whose involvement in F1 motorsport serves as a showcase for both their sports cars and Russian automotive technology. Before moving in to its UK headquarters in Banbury, Oxfordshire, Marussia F1 Team redeveloped the site, creating a state-of-the art environment for its staff. The building needed to reflect the company’s involvement in technology and innovation as well as running as efficiently as possible.

Project brief
Detailed assembly work is an everyday task at the factory and it is important that technicians can work in the best possible conditions. Marussia F1 Team wanted LED lighting, understanding its advantages over fluorescent lighting, and chose JCC to provide the solution.

Which products were used?
34W LED Skytile flat panels were used throughout the assembly areas, circulation areas, offices and meeting rooms to provide even light levels for a variety of different activities.

Fireguard LED7 fire-rated downlights and Rakula 27W LED downlights were used throughout the reception and showroom area, where a real-size Marussia F1 car is on display.

Why JCC?
“We chose the JCC Skytile to ensure a reduction in our energy and maintenance costs and to create a lighting scheme to support us for many years to come.
