Hamilton Chosen to Refurbish Anne Boleyn's Guest Rooms

Project interior designer, Sarah Clark of ‘Nine to Eleven’, found Hamilton Litestat’s bespoke design and production service invaluable during the recent refurbishment of Anne Boleyn’s guest rooms within a new wing of Hever Castle’s Luxury Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Hamilton’s proven expertise in integrating smart technology sympathetically and seamlessly within a ‘Heritage’ environment made them the perfect partner to fit-out the 9 new suites and a breakfast room. With this in mind, Hamilton’s Mercury® Lighting Control system was the natural choice - simple to install, cleverly designed and easy for hotel staff and guests to use.

Hamilton advised and fulfilled Sarah’s bespoke brief by creating tailor-made control plates to meet the needs of the design and the project installation. Hamilton’s Hartland CFX® collection was chosen, finished in Richmond Bronze, for its intensity and depth of colour. Essentially neutral with a deep tone to seamlessly blend with the colours and textures of the fabrics and surfaces in each individually styled room.

A bespoke 4 button control plate, featuring different settings – engraved with the words ‘Bright’, ‘Calm’, ‘Cosy’ and ‘Off’, were fitted at the entrance to each suite. The plates were made to Sarah’s exact specifications with input and advice from Hamilton to create a stylish end result and was just one of several special tailored solutions fulfilled by Hamilton at the request of the designer. And for the finishing touches: each suite was fitted with switch plates and sockets also from the Hartland CFX collection and finished in Richmond Bronze for a totally coordinated look!
